LATEST NEWS

In October it will be 50 years since Sheffield (other than Blackpool) became the final city in England to dispense with its tramway system.To commemorate this the museum is putting on a special Sheffield Tram display from September rally day. There will be lots of photographs and also some model tram layouts.

Next event days:-

19th September in conjuction with The South Yorkshire Transport Rally at Meadowhall Coach Park.
There will be a shuttle bus service between the rally site and the museum.

October 10th Tram anniversary---see above

See us also at Rotherham Show on 11th/12th September

On October 2nd we are hosting a visit by Manchester Historic Vehicle Club. There will be vehicles from the 1920s to the 1960s present.
