The South Yorkshire Transport Museum is a non-profit organisation which relies on donations, sponsorship, funding and the help of it's many volunteers to keep it running. A part of history is kept alive through the careful restoration of the vehicles.
Location... We are located on Waddington Way, just off Aldwarke Lane (A6123) in Aldwarke, Rotherham. From M1 Junction 36, follow Sheffield Road (A630) to Rotherham. At the first major roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Aldwarke Lane (A6123). Follow Aldwarke Lane for about a mile, then turn left onto Waddington Way, just before the railway bridge. Membership... Annual subscriptions contribute towards the upkeep of the museum and the vehicles. Members receive free entry to the museum, and a copy of the 'Oily Rag' newsletter quarterly. Current annual membership subscriptions are...
